Youth Ministry Purpose:

To provide personified youth ministry whereby we establish relationships with youth and teens, imparting the Gospel in order to introduce them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and then to nurture that relationship. The ministry team has three core goals: 1) Invite youth to a personal relationship with God. 2) Challenge youth to grow in their relationship with God through personal devotion, Bible study and Christian discipline. 3) Offer youth opportunities to experience their faith through service in local and national missions and worship. The ministry team works to provide programming in four areas: worship, mission, scripture based education and community building.

Children's Church

Vision:  Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for such is the kingdom of God . St. Mark 10:14.

Purpose:  To have a spirit-filled Children’s Church, that is Christ-centered, designed to religiously educate and enhance our children through the Word of God. Children’s Ministry by definition is “God working through the lives of spirit-filled leaders to meet the wholistic needs of young people.

Mission Statement:  “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverb 22:6

Goals:

• Meet them on their level.
• Show them the ways of Jesus Christ.
• Nurture their growth
• Encourage them to be proud, efficient, effective and secure.
• Teach them to share their faith.

Community Service

The youth ministry continues its efforts to volunteer in community service throughout St. Petersburg. Our youths have actively volunteered for the past three years with organizations such as the Salvation Army.

Dance ministries witness to the unsaved through dance, and to edify God’s kingdom by enhancing the praise and worship experience for the church. Praise dance promotes the development of an intimate relationship with God through praise and worship.
