Spring Break College Tours

Bethel Metropolitan’s Scholarship Ministry sponsors an annual College Tour that traditionally takes place during the Pinellas County School District’s Spring Break. The nominal cost for high school students is $50, which covers transportation and accommodations. Our travels take us throughout the southeast United States. Not only do we tour the universities and colleges, but also landmarks and sites with historical ties to the African American experience.

• 2006 – Florida A&M University (FAMU); Florida State University (FSU); University of Florida (UF)
• 2008 – University of Central Florida (UCF); Rollins College; Stetson University; Bethune-Cookman University (BCU)
• 2009 – Alabama State University; Auburn University; Tuskegee University; University of Alabama-Birmingham.
• 2010 – Colleges and Universities in the Atlanta, GA area! Visit this site often for updates.
  

The deadline for registering for the Spring Break 2009 College Tour in Alabama is March 15, 2009. We will depart March 29 and return April 2. For more information, please contact the church’s administrative office and ask to speak with Ms. Berlena Hudson.
